An accident resulting in the death of a 45-year-old citizen of Ukraine occurred at the metallurgical plant in the city of Türi, Estonia. This was reported by the Estonian Postimees agency.

"A worker from Ukraine fell under a metal part that weighs about a ton, and died," the report said.

Doctors and rescuers arrived on the scene, but the man could not be saved.

A spokeswoman for the Police and Border Guard Department, Victoria Korpan, said that the cause of the man's death will be determined by an autopsy, although "there is no reason to believe that death came as a result of a crime."

The investigation over the fact of the incident started.
