The resident of Luhansk region was revealed at Hoptivka checkpoint. He tried to transfer around 21 kg of plant-based substance to Russia, as the website of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service reports.

Volkswagen car was noticed in Hoptivka checkpoint – a dog reacted on the vehicle during the check. Luhansk region resident, who was at the wheel, intended to transfer 21 kg of plant-based substance, supposedly, marijuana, to Russia.

It was reported that during the check of the car, 68 rolls with a gray-green substance were found. According to the driver, the total amount of the “potion” is around 13 kg. But the law enforcers determined that 21 kg of plant-based substance was to be transferred to.

“Investigation is underway. The culprit and the substance were handed over to SBU,” the message says.
