Ukrainian tourists placed in Sousse hotel

Ukrainian tourists, who cannot return from Tunisia for the third day, were placed in Sousse, as Diana Kundryk, a Ukrainian tourist, told Hromadske Radio.

According to her, "Oasis Travel Ukraine", the tour operator, promised to pay for the hotel. The company promises that the tourists will come back to Ukraine on July 2, as the message says.

A Ukrainian consul arrived in the hotel and agreed on the issue of the placement of the Ukrainian tourists. A few hundred people cannot fly out to Kharkiv from the Monastir Airport. A part of the tourists is still at the airport, the rest was placed in the hotel in Sousse.

As we reported earlier, 300 Ukrainians could not fly out from Tunis for two days now. According to mass media, the actions of the tour operator and the flight’s carrier were the reasons for this.

The Ukrainians were at Monastir Airport.  According to them, the airline and the tour operator did not fulfill their obligations concerning the return of Ukrainians home.
