The situation with the accumulation of coal in thermal power plants warehouses does not change and remains critical - thermal power plant warehouses contain twice less coal than it should be as of August 25. This was reported by Ukrenergo.
"The situation with the accumulation of coal in TPP warehouses does not change and remains critical. As of the morning of August 25, 750 thousand tons of coal are in TPP warehouses, which is 1.7% less than at the beginning of the previous week (for August 16 - 763 thousand tons)," the message reads.
In particular, gas coal is accumulated 2.3 times less then it is scheduled, 1.5 times for anthracite.
As of August 25, 168 thousand tons of coal are stored in the combined heat and power (CHP) warehouses, which is 9.9% less than as of August 16 (185 thousand tons).
In addition, due to lack of fuel, 19 TPP and CHP units with a total capacity of 7.3 GW were out of order.
Earlier, it was reported that stocks of coal in warehouses of thermal power plants continue to decrease in Ukraine. During the week of August 2-8, the fuel supply decreased by 2.7%, and the total number of tons of coal was 36.4% less than the norm on August 9.
