Swimmer Anton Kol won a silver medal for Ukraine at the Paralympics in Tokyo, as reported by Suspilne. This is the second medal for our team in these games.

Kol almost won the gold medal, but he lacked 0.3 seconds to catch up with the Israeli Iyad Shalabi.

The 31-year-old Ukrainian swimmer competed in the Paralympic Games for the second time. He has already won two bronze medals at the Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 - in the distances of 50 meters and 100 meters backstroke.

As it was reported earlier, Ukrainian fencer Yevheniia Breus won a bronze medal at the Paralympics in Tokyo.

It is known that Ukraine will be represented by 143 athletes in 15 sports at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. The last games were very successful for our country - Ukraine took third place in the overall standings.
