Ukrainian soldiers, who stay in the territory of the holding of Joint Forces Operation on the day of election of the president of Ukraine, will be able to vote at equipped tents, special polling stations, as UNN reported citing Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
“For the deployment of the places for voting, the work of the precinct commissions in the territory of the military units, which create special polling stations and other property for the equipment of the special polling stations,” the message said.
It is noted that at the moment, the places for the voting are equipped with all the necessary things at the territory of the military units: tables, chairs, stove heating, lighting, communication means, voting booths, and so on.
The Central Election Commission created 80 special polling stations only in the territory of the holding of Joint Forces Operation: 65 stations in Donetsk region, 14 stations in Luhansk region. Another station is created in Lviv region.
“On the day of election of the president of Ukraine, all soldiers, who stay in the Joint Forces Operation, will be provided with the possibility to fulfill their constitutional rights,” the Defense Ministry said.
As we reported, Ukraine’s Security Service informed about prevention of a large-scale cyber attack at the website of the Central Election Commission.
Earlier we reported that Russia intends to involve all present arsenal, including the cyber means, to influence the upcoming elections in Ukraine.
The election campaign has officially started on December 31, 2018. Registration of the candidates was closed on February 4, 2019. 39 candidates are included into the voting ballots.
