As it was reported earlier, the Ukrainian-American Sea Breeze 2019 military drills took place in Odesa, in July 2019. 33 ships and 27 flying machines were involved in the exercises. More than three thousand Ukrainian soldiers have participated in it. The exercise simulated defending the Black Sea from encroachment from the Danube River along the border of Ukraine and Romania, a NATO member country. Vessels from the Maritime Guard of Ukraine escorted civilian transports to the Black Sea. Artillery drills, reconnaissance group deployment, and special units’ teamwork refinement were all a part of the Sea Breeze-2019 exercise.
