On July 15, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova and Russian ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova hold the meeting in Kyiv. They intend to discuss the issue of the release of the Ukrainians kept in the territory of Russia and annexed Crimea and Russian citizens imprisoned in Ukraine as Denisova wrote on Facebook.

According to the Ukrainian ombudsman, they also discussed the possibility of the solution of the humanitarian issues on the provision of the particular categories of people, who stay in the custodial settings with medical or any other help.

“We will also talk about our further work,” Denisova added.

Earlier it was reported that the number of the Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia exceeded 230 people.

Besides, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine congratulated detained in Russia Ukrainian film director, Oleg Sentsov, on his birthday and called on Russia to immediately release all Ukrainian political prisoners.
