Oleh Kravchenko, a 25-year-old citizen of Kyiv became the youngest Ukrainian ever who participated in all six marathons of the World Marathon Majors series as he reported on Facebook.
'A long way in four years, two or even three marathons per year – the main thing is to keep up the pace and heart rhythm. Dozens of thousands of dollars, a couple of triples of the coaches with their approaches and methods, dozens of traumas, half of the bucket of tears, hundreds of kilometers and the pain and emptiness are always at the end of the way which I actually chased. This is one of my long-term goals – tomorrow I will run and put it into my collection box for the whole life', Ihor wrote before the London marathon.
As we reported President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated the Ukrainian militaries who won ten medals at the US Marine Corps Marathon.
Also, National team of Ukraine received the third award at the Invictus Games in Toronto (Canada): silver medal in the race for 400 meters was won by police officer Olexandr Tkachenko.
