Health condition of the Crimean Tatar Kazim Ametov, detained in occupied Simferopol, got worse, as Ukraine’s Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova wrote on Facebook.
“According to his lawyer, his life is in danger, his condition is critical. His daughter stated that he had constant suffocation attacks, high blood pressure and kidney problems. At the same time, he does not receive medical aid,” Denisova wrote.
According to the Ombudsman, his relatives are ready to pass all necessary medicine so that he could feel better.
Denisova has addressed her Russian colleague Tatyana Moskalkova and Russian President Adviser Mykhail Fedotov again.
Ombudsman reminded that since October 2018 she had appealed to the Russian Ombudsman and President’s Adviser multiple times. She asked them to assist in providing medical aid for Ametov, yet she had not received any answers.
As it was reported, the political prisoner Asan Chapukh was hospitalized in occupied Crimea.
