Ukrainian parliament invites heads of NABU, SBU, SAP and GPU to evening session

The MPs of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine invited the heads of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), General Prosecutor’s Office (GPU), Special Security Service (SBU) and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) of Ukraine to the evening session as Rada TV channel broadcasted.

‘The chairmen of the political parties ‘Petro Poroshenko Bloc’ and ‘Narodny Front’ appealed to me with the offer to invite the heads of the law enforcement to the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. According to the regulation of the parliament, I put into the voting this offer on the necessity of listening of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, the Head of the SBU, the deputy Prosecutor General and the head of the SAP and the director of the NABU’, Paruby, the Speaker of the parliament said.

He reminded that 150 votes are enough to adopt this decision.

According to Paruby, Yury Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine will be the first to deliver a speech.

Earlier Artur Gerasimov, the Chairman of the ‘Petro Poroshenko Bloc’ urged to listen to the heads of the NABU, SBU and GPU at the parliament.

As we reported earlier that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained the agent of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) during the attempt to bribe Dina Pimakhova, the First Deputy Head of State Migration Service.

Dina Pimakhova, the First Deputy Head of the State Migration Service revealed her version of the incident with the agent of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). According to her, Serhy Boyarsky, the NABU agent established the informal friendly relations with her and began to offer a bribe to legalize the foreigners.

The detectives say they had made up a cover story, by which the undercover agent came into contact with Pimakhova, and in November she agreed to help with giving out a permit for temporary residence for $30.000

Later Artem Sytnyk, the Head of Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine claimed that all cover operations of the NABU agents were stopped.

Moreover, Yury Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine that the NABU performed an illegal act when it asked for the FBI assistance while searching the State Migration Service office.
