Ukrainian Parliament fired Ihor Petrashko from office of Economy Minister

The Verkhovna Rada has dismissed Ihor Petrashko from the position of Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture upon his own request. 280 MPs voted for the decision.

It should be noted that Petrashko has been the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture since March 17, 2020. His wish to resign became known on May 14, 2021.

According to latifundist, in 2004-2007 Ihor Petrashko worked in Moscow, later in Kyiv representative office of Ernst&Young company; he also worked in the investment company TriykaDialogUkraine. Until 2013, he headed the corporate business department at Sberbank of Russia.

Agenda of today's extraordinary sitting of the parliament includes also the dismissal of the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy and dismissal of the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov.

In addition, the Servant of the People parliamentary faction approved the candidacy of Oleksandr Kubrakov for the position of Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Oleksiy Lyubchenko for the position of Minister of Economy and First Deputy Prime Minister, and Viktor Lyashko for the position of Minister of Health.
