The Ukrainian side of the JCCC will withdraw its observers from the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas, as Uzef Venskovych, Deputy Head of the department of communication of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told 112.UA.
“The Russian side of the conflict in Donbas bears full responsibility for the development of the security situation (in the region), and its withdrawal from the JCCC puts the observers who are deployed in the occupied territory under threat. This is why the Ukrainian side will be forced to withdraw its observers to the controlled by Ukraine territory,” he said.
He added that when the Russian Armed Forces leave Ukraine, the JCCC will continue its duty and observe the situation, as well as ensure the work of the OSCE SMM.
As it was reported earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry said that because of Kyiv's obstruction to the work of the Russian soldiers in the JCCC, they would leave the territory of Ukraine on December 19.
