Ukrainian Naval Infantry shared the combat experience on battle-field medicine with the partakers of the international Sea Breeze 2021 drills as the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reported.

“The exercises and training of the multinational forces of the coastal components of the international Sea Breeze 2021 drills continue at the firing range of the naval infantry. Thus, at one of the training places, the instructors on battle-field medicine of the Ukrainian Naval Infantry held exercises with the armed forces of Georgia, Moldova, and the United States Marines,” the message says.

The Defense Ministry noted that the Ukrainian military medics showed how to provide first medical aid during the holding of combat actions and evacuate the wounded from the battlefield in accordance with the protocols of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“It is important that this training show real combat experience received in the ATO/JFO zone. Thanks to the professionalism of our medics, use of their knowledge and skills, many lives were saved. That is why these exercises caused the strong interest of our foreign colleagues,” the ministry noted.

All instructors, who held the exercises, have training certificates on NATO standards.

As we reported, the solemn opening ceremony of Ukrainian-American Sea Breeze 2021 drills took place in Odesa. About 30 countries-members participated in it. Commander of the Naval Forces of Ukraine rear-admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa headed the event.
