The National Guard of Ukraine holds the investigation on the usage of the Soviet marks banned in Ukraine by the National Guard officers during the march in Kryvy Rih on February 22 as the press service of the Interior Ministry reported.

The events dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the release of the city from the Nazi-invaders took place yesterday. The Soviet marks were among the attributes of the celebration.

Earlier Yuliana Berezutska, the volunteer published the photos from the event on Facebook. According to them, the participants of the march bore the Ukrainian marks along with the Soviet.

The public use of the Soviet marks contradicts with the law of Ukraine 'On condemnation of the communist, national and socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and ban of the propaganda of its marks' adopted by the Ukrainian parliament in April 2015.
