The Ukrainian militaries of the third separate special operations regiment won the silver at the annual international military patrolling exercise Cambrian Patrol that takes place in the UK as Roman Sinitsyn reported at Facebook.
‘The team of the third separate special operations regiment arrived from the UK with the silver awards of the annual international military patrolling exercise Cambrian Patrol. The exercise considered to be extremely difficult as it is the long-distance marching over the Cambrian Mountains of Wales’, he wrote.
The exercise include the 80 kilometers of marching at the mountainous area at stormy weather during two days without sleep, work with the agents, local citizens, neutralizing of the terrorists and release of the civilian hostages, questioning and work with the prisoners, demining, forcing water barriers at the mountains with the temperature of water about +6 Celsius and other.
The militaries from the UK and Pakistan got the gold medals but their success is explained by the presence of the greater experience in the mountain conflicts and good local knowledge.
The soldiers and officers who took part in many battles in Donbas were in the Ukrainian team.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian national team won 14 medals: 8 golden, 3 silver and 3 bronze at the Invictus Games-2017 that took place in Toronto, Canada.
