Andriy Portnov, Ukrainian lawyer and ex-Deputy Head of President’s Administration under Yanukovych presidency stated that at the questioning in Prosecutor General Office he spoke about the role of the Head of Department of Special Investigations Serhiy Horbatyuk and Head of General Prosecutor Office Yuriy Lutsenko in concealing the mass murders at Instytutska Street in Kyiv in 2014, as he wrote on his Telegram-channel.
“I noted the role of the Head of Department of Special Investigations Serhiy Horbatyuk and leadership of General Prosecutor Office in concealment of mass murders on Maidan (Independence Square, - ed.),” Portnov wrote.
He stated he spent 3.5 hours on the questioning.
According to Portnov, the investigators of the establishment will have more work as there is a need to check this information, question their own leaders and include the information in the Registry of pretrial investigations.
On May 21, it was reported that Prosecutor General Office summoned Portnov to the questioning as the witness in Euromaidan case.
As it was reported, the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine launched a probe under the request of Andriy Portnov who accuses Petro Poroshenko of state treason.
