Kuleba assured that the Foreign Ministry keeps in touch with these citizens.
“There are citizens who would like to evacuate. There is no direct threat to their lives; we keep in touch with them. The Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Foreign Ministry helped as it could. The evacuation was hard, considering the situation at the place, the necessity to reach the agreements with new Afghan authorities to enable the landing of the plane, to take people on board, and enable the plane to take off,” the minister said.
He noted that the next flight will be also held by the intelligence.
