The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine prolonged the ban on importing goods from Russia that are in a ratified list until Dec. 31, 2018, as the order was signed during the cabinet session today, according to Ukrainsky Novyny.
In particular, the government made certain amendments to the previous order, prolonging it until Dec. 31, 2018. The list included mostly food products.
The decision to prolong it was made in order to ensure the national security of Ukraine in response to Russia’s introducing such trade bans and restrictions against Ukraine.
At the same time, the new list includes additional positions, such as polyethylene of the density higher than 0.94, pure polyvinylchloride, ammonium sulfate, a mixture of ammonium nitrate with calcium carbonate or other inorganic substances that are not fertilizers.
