Ukrainian far-right group captures Ocean Plaza shopping mall again

The situation in the shopping mall is tense

On Wednesday, November 28, far-right group Sokil has entered Kyiv shopping mall “Ocean Plaza”. For now, 200 people in black clothes with the flags of their organization are inside the mall, as Vesti reported.

“We take Ocean Plaza under our control,” the protesters stated.

The nationalists demand the closing of the shopping mall, which, according to them, belongs to the Russian businessmen.

“We demand to stop funding terrorism and murdering the Ukrainian soldiers by the means which are taken from Ukraine through this shopping mall,” they say.

At around 12:30 pm, a few dozens of law enforcers arrived to the shopping mall. The police officers surrounded the protesters, then, they started leaving the mall. For now, there are lots of protesters inside.

Yesterday, on November 28, Ocean Plaza shopping mall was surrounded with tires, walls were painted, the main entrance – glued over.
