The Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv region served charges to the Ukrainian who attempted to carry the military information concerning ship hydroacoustic complex that is a part of the armament of a frigate of ‘Hetman Sahaidachny’ project through the customs border of Ukraine to Iran. The press service of the prosecutor’s office reported this.

It is established that a man was a senior research worker of one of the research institutes and decided to illegally carry the military information on the armament of frigate ‘Hetman Sahaidachny’ out of Ukraine to Iran, realizing that this information is concerned to be confidential.

The man copied this information to the USB drive. The criminal was detained by the workers of the law enforcement bodies in the zone of the customs clearance of ‘Boryspil’ Airport on the ground of the court order.

The detained is served charges in the commitment of the crime classified as the violation of the order of the holding of the international pass of goods that should be controlled by state export. The crime brings punishment in the form of the fine in the sum of 100 or 200 personal exemptions or imprisonment up to three years, or the imprisonment without a right to occupy particular positions.
