The so-called representative of the annexed Crimea did not receive powers in the Parliamentary Assembly of Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) thanks to Ukrainian delegation. Verkhovna Rada speaker Andry Paruby thanked the delegation and during    consensus meeting on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

“I would like to thank Ukrainian delegation of BSEC Parliamentary Assembly and its chairman Lyudmyla Denysova. I want to say that our delegation to the PABSEC has made sure that a member of Russian delegation, a person who believes that he was elected from the Crimea occupied by Russia, did not receive the delegate's authority. Our delegation raised this issue, and 10 out of 12 countries supported the position of the Ukrainian delegation. I think this is an important success for Ukraine, it is an important solidarity of the countries - our closest neighbors of the Black Sea region, including Turkey,” Paruby said.
