Ukrainian Armed Forces are provided with the necessary amount of military hardware and ammunition. This was reported by Stepan Poltorak, Ukrainian Defense Minister, in an interview to Interfax-Ukraine.
"The stockpiles of ammunition and other materiel in warehouses and vaults are enough to ensure tasks for the Armed Forces. How long would these reserves last — it depends on the intensity of hostilities. There’s enough to adequately respond to any escalation as of today. I will not announce the number of tons, let the enemy spend its forces and means, we should not make it easier for them. We have enough arms and equipment. We should also build our own plant for maintaining our stock in the future," minister noted.
However, according to Poltorak, Ukrainian Armed Forces still need anti-tank weapons, air defense means and other defense capabilities.
"That is to say, we are in need of defensive arms. And this is exactly what we are asking from our foreign partners," he said.
