The Russian Federation continues to torture illegally detained Ukrainian citizens. A person involved in the "fourth Bakhchysarai group" was deprived of drugs that are vital for him. This was stated by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova on Facebook.

"Crimean Tatar involved in the so-called "fourth Bakhchysarai group" in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case, Seyran Khayredinov, who has serious heart problems, was deprived of all drugs given by his relatives last month, " Denisova writes.

The Commissioner for Human Rights adds that the medicine were officially certified by the administration of the pre-trial detention center where the man is being held. The management of the remand prison violated Khayredinov's right to life, health care and medical aid.

Denisova called on the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation, Tatiana Moskalkova, to immediately take the necessary measures to restore the rights of detained citizens of Ukraine, return Khayredinov's medicine and conduct a full medical examination.

"I urge the international community to pay attention to the violation of the rights of Seyran Khayredinov, who is being held illegally in a Russian detention center, to continue activities aimed at protecting the rights of all Kremlin prisoners and to increase pressure on the occupant country to stop violations of international law immediately," Denisova adds.

On October 29, Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don in Hizb ut-Tahrir case sentenced members of the so-called third Bakhchysarai group to imprisonment for a term from 12 to 17 years. The four defendants received in total 56 years in prison.
