Ukrainian athlete Lyudmyla Luzan has won a bronze medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo canoe sprint as Suspilne Poltava reported.

A 24-year-old canoer from the Poltava region competed in a 200m spring. She finished with 47.034 seconds results; the rivals from the U.S. and Canada were faster than her.

Lyudmyla Luzan is the winner of the last Championship of Europe in Poznan (Poland). The athlete received four medals, two gold, one silver, and bronze, for the first time ever in the history of Ukraine. Poltave coach Mykola Matsapura trains her.

As we reported, Ukrainian athletes Marta Fedyna and Anastasiia Savchuk became bronze medalists of the Olympics during the final tournament in artistic swimming in duets.

Besides, Zhan Beleniuk made the fans in Ukraine and abroad as happy as they could possibly be, collecting the first gold in these Olympic Games for his team and country. He triumphed in the Greco-Roman wrestling competition (weight category of up to 87 kilograms).
