Ukrainian man was beaten when he tried to defend his acquaintance

In Polish city Rzeszow a Ukrainian citizen who tried to protect a woman was severely beaten. This was reported by Polish daily Rzeszow News with a link on police source.

The incident happened on Monday in one of the restaurants nearby the railway station..“Ukrainian citizen was sitting with a Polish woman he knew in the restaurant. Four men started to harass the woman in a vulgar way. Ukrainian man tried to defend her. After that they attacked Ukrainian who lives in Poland for a long time already and has his business here,” one of the policemen commented.

It was reported that the attackers lead the Ukrainian out of the restaurant and beat him there; the man lost his consciousness. It is also known that they cried out insults based on nationality.

At the same time our source in police informed that the attackers took a man for Russian.

The police arrested two attackers soon after the incident and the other two on Wednesday. All of them will be charged with beating. The case will be conducted on a fact of the beating on nationality basis.
