The tests of new Ukrainian weapons and military equipment were held at the military firing range of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Oleksandr Turchynov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine claimed this, the press office of the Council reported.

According to Turchynov, they held the tests of the new operative-tactical unmanned complex, which is capable to carry out reconnaissance, coordinate the firing, provide resistant to the electronic warfare means communication at the operational depth up to 200 km, be in the air for up to 24 hours. Also, the combat unmanned complex, which can carry a powerful high-explosive or thermobaric war charge and accurately hit targets in the rear of the enemy was tested. The Secretary of the NSDC stressed that Ukrainian armorers in cooperation with foreign partners designed these unmanned complexes.

Moreover, the aircraft performance of Ukrainian light multi-purpose helicopters Skyline SL-231 and Aerokopter AK1-3 were demonstrated. According to Turchynov, these helicopters are capable to carry out border protection tasks, reconnaissance and rapid communication in the army.

Also, the tests operation of ZU-23-2 upgraded anti-aircraft mount were carried out.

‘The combination of the anti-aircraft mount with the electronic system of automatic target detection and control of firing allows to securely destroy air and ground targets, in particular, Unmanned aerial vehicle consisting in service of the Russian Federation,’ Turchynov stressed.

New ammunition of Ukrainian manufacture was demonstrated and tested at the firing range. In particular, RS-80 missiles usable in different situations, and high-explosive fragmentation shell for the popular in the army cannons MT-12 "Rapira“.

‘All new tested developments of the Ukrainian Defense Industrial Complex demonstrated high efficiency and after we take them into force, they will significantly reinforce our military potential,’ the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine noted.
