The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has exposed the inter-regional network coordinated from Russia. It consisted of six internet agitators who urged on social networks to overthrow the constitutional order, seize state power, and massacre over the law enforcers, as the SBU reported.
During the searches at the residence places of perpetrators, the SBU employees confiscated the computer facilities and communication means with evidence of illicit activity.
“Two persons of interest were served charges by the investigators of security bodies due to the actions aiming for regime change by force or overthrowing of the constitutional order and violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” the message said.
The message noted that a citizen of the Ternopil region was exposed to the agitation on the social network to overthrow the power and violate the territorial integrity of Ukraine. According to the investigation, the perpetrator also urged to hold a massacre over the law enforcers.
Meanwhile, in the Sumy region, the cyber experts of the SBU stopped the illegal activities of a citizen of Putivl who spread on the internet the deconstructive content on the overthrow of the constitutional order and seizing state power. It is established that materials for the so-called articles were received by the person of interest through banned internet resources.
Another three agitators from Mykolaiv and Volyn were served charged due to the attempt to the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.
If the guilt of the perpetrators is proved; they face imprisonment from three up to five years with the confiscation of property or without it.
As we reported, the SBU detained two recruits of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB). They collected secret data about the armament of the Ukrainian army.
