Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko is to meet with EU Commission Vice-President, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini. President's press office reports.
The meeting will be held in the framework of Mogherini's visit to Ukraine. The parties will discuss the issues of the security situation in the Donbas and the prospects for launching a UN peacekeeping mission in support of the implementation of the Minsk agreements. They will also discuss coordinate positions regarding non-recognition of the illegal elections of the President of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea.
During the meeting, the ways to improve the sanctions policy against Russia, the EU's support for reforms in Ukraine will be discussed.
