The Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk announced the dismissal of leadership of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre next week. The Prime Minister made such a statement during a meeting with Ukrainian farmers, as 112 Ukraine reports.

Recently detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) under the leadership of prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) notified of suspicion the Vice President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine Anush Balyan, the head of Chabany Research Farm Oleksandr Ishchuk, Director of Agriculture Institute (NAAN) Viktor Kaminsky, ex-President of NAAN Vasyl Petrychenko and three other people.

On September 19, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that according to the market model the government is currently developing, only Ukrainians will be able to purchase land in Ukraine.

According to Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk, the opening of the land market in Ukraine is scheduled for October 1, 2020.

Earlier Honcharuk said that Ukrainian government was working on an instrument that would enable farmers to buy land in the frameworks of opening a new land market. He also added that before starting the land reform in summer 2020, the government together with the National Bank would make lending in Ukrainian currency cheaper, and the loan could be taken at 14-15%.
