The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has unblocked the signing of the law on the land sale at the electronic auctions. You can watch the online broadcast of the plenary meeting HERE.

On the website of the parliament, seven regulations were registered on the cancelation of the law on land sale at the electronic auctions that blocked the signing of this law by Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The parliament did not support any of these regulations.

On May 18, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading and as a whole the bill #2195, which provides for the sale of land plots of state and communal property or rights to them, such as rent or superficies through electronic auctions. 272 lawmakers voted for this decision.

The law provides for the introduction of the sale of land plots of state and communal property or rights to them through electronic auctions in the electronic trading system.

Bidding will be held in a single electronic trading system in the form of an electronic auction in real-time on the Internet, which will result in a contract of sale, lease, superficies of land with the winner of the land auction.

All lots must have photos of the land and contain information about the person who has a preemptive right to purchase the land.
