Ukraine’s parliament unblocks signing of bills on cash registers, fines for illegally issued receipts

The Verkhovna Rada refused to cancel the decision, which adopted the bills #1053-1 on imposing of electronic receipt and #1073 on implementation of cashback in case of illegally issued receipts as 112 Ukraine reported.

102 MPs stood for the abolishing of the adoption of the bill on cash registers. 108 lawmakers did not support the idea to impose fines for illegally issued receipts.

On September 20, Ukrainian parliament approved the bill No. 1053-1, which provides an instilment of an electronic check. It was unveiled by a deputy from People’s Servant fraction, the head of the tax committee Danylo Hetmantsev. The turnover limit for individuals of the second group of entrepreneurs has been increased from 60,932 to 101,553 dollars, - according to his statement.

Earlier it was reported that Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine may consider the main and alternative bills on the land market this week. On September 25, the governmental land market bill was registered at the Ukrainian parliament.

As it was reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to draw up a bill on the land market by October and entrusted the Verkhovna Rada to adopt it and lift the moratorium on agricultural land sale by December 2019. In particular, the government has to develop and submit to the parliament a bill on the agricultural land market and lifting of the moratorium on land sales by October 1, 2019.
