The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider the bill on the impeachment of the president #1012 on September 12 as 112 Ukraine reported citing First Deputy Head of Servant of the People party Oleksandr Kornienko.

“The bill on the special procedure of the removing of the president of Ukraine from the post included on agenda of Thursday. It is that law on impeachment, which was highly discussed in Ukraine but we will consider it, vote for it for the first time,” Kornienko said.

On June 6, the parliament of the previous convocation adopted the bill #1098 on the temporary investigative and special commissions of the parliament, which supposes the settlement of the procedure of the impeachment of the president. Zelensky did not sign this document.

On May 29, 2019, Volodymyr Zelensky filed his own draft law on impeachment to the Verkhovna Rada. However, the parliament did not include it on the agenda.
