Ukraine’s parliament registers resignation statement of Prime Minister

The resignation statement of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman is registered at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. UNN reported that citing Iryna Karmelyuk, the parliament’s official.

“Yesterday, on May 23, the resignation statement of the Prime Minister was registered,” Karmelyuk noted.

She reminded that the next stage would be the President's written statement on this matter; however, the incumbent government will keep on working until the next one is elected and appointed.

Ukraine’s PM Groysman wrote a letter of resignation, which is dated May 20. He said he would resign on Wednesday, May 22. Groysman headed Ukraine’s Government since April 14, 2016.

Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada Vadym Denysenko resigned, too.
