The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed MP from the Servant of the People faction Oleksandr Tkachenko as the new Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. 263 MPs supported the decision as 112 Ukraine TV channel reported.

Before the appointment, Tkachenko occupied the position of the chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on information policy. It is supposed that Mykyta Poturayev will replace him at this position.

As we reported, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has dismissed Vadym Prystaiko from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and appointed Olha Stefanishyna (not an MP of Holos faction Olha Anatoliivna Stefanishyna - 112 International). Vadym Prystaiko is expected to head one of Ukraine's foreign diplomatic missions - he may be appointed as Ukraine's ambassador to Britain.
