Ukraine's Parliament appoints date of Zelensky's inauguration on May 20

After long negotiations, 315 MPs voted "for"

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for the date of inauguration of President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky.

112 Ukraine broadcasted the Parliament's session. 

Current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated he would support any day.

President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky recorded a message to the parliament, where he called on the MPs to appoint the date of the inauguration on May 19 in order to cease the staff activity of the current President Petro Poroshenko.

On April 30, the Central Election Commission announced the results of the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine in 2019. Volodymyr Zelensky wins the presidential run with 73,22% of the votes. Petro Poroshenko got 24,45% of the votes.
