The Ministry of Finance in the new Cabinet is now headed by Ihor Umansky.


Ihor Umansky was born on January 9, 1975 in Prypyat, Kyiv region.

In 1997 he graduated from Kyiv National Economic University with a degree in Economics of Enterprises. Umansky is Master of Business Administration and PhD in Economics.

Over the years, he worked as an expert in the office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Economics, Deputy Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economics and European Integration, Deputy head of the board of Ukrtransnafta company, Deputy head of the State Agency for Investment and Innovation.

From April 8, 2009 to March 11, 2010 he served as acting Minister of Finance of Ukraine. From October 2014 to December 2015 he was the first deputy head of the Ministry of Finance.

Declaration of income

According to the declaration for 2018, Igor Umansky is building a house in Kapustyane, Kyiv region. He also has a land plot.

Umansky has 22 159 hryvnias (900 USD) in his accounts, he also has joint accounts with his wife, with 30 000 dollars and 17 000 euros.

According to the documents, some real estate, as well as a car, is a property of his wife and daughter.
