The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories in the new Cabinet is now headed by Oleksiy Reznikov.
Previously it was decided to divide the Ministry of Veterans, Temporarily Occupied Territories and the Internally Displaced Persons into two separate bodies.
Biography of the new minister
Oleksiy Reznikov was born on June 18, 1966 in Lviv. From 1984 to 1986 he served in the Airborne Parachute Troops of the USSR Air Force.
From 1986 to 1991 he studied at the Faculty of Law at Ivan Franko Lviv University majoring in law.
In 1991 Reznikov became a co-founder of the Galytsky Securities brokerage company, in 1994 he received a certificate needed to practice law.
Also he worked as deputy chairman of the Center for the Development of Ukrainian Legislation, was the founder of the Pravis company, and worked as the chief legal adviser of the Yegorov Puginsky Afanasyev & Partners Law Office.
Since November 2018, he resumed legal practice as a partner of Asters Law Firm.
In 2008-2014 Reznikov was the Kiev City Council MP of the VI convocation.
Since June 2014 he became the Kyiv City Council MP of the VII convocation.
He was also elected deputy mayor - secretary of the City Council.
Since April 2016 - Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration.
From September 18, 2019, he became the representative of Ukraine in the working subgroup on political issues.
Declaration of income
According to the declaration for 2018, Oleksiy Reznikov has two apartments in the capital, as well as several land plots in Kiylov, Kyiv region. In addition, he owns two cars and an ATV.
Also, the new minister declared several hunting carbines and watches.
