Timofiy Milovanov has headed Ukraine’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in the new Cabinet of Oleksiy Goncharuk. Milovanov came to replace Stepan Kubiv, who has been leading the ministry since April 2016.

Bio of Timofiy Milovanov
Timofiy Milovanov was born on March 15, 1975, in Kyiv.
He studied at the National Technical University of Ukraine and the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. In 1999, he received a master's degree in economics from the Kyiv School of Economics.
In 2004, he received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He taught at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Bonn, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh.
Conducts research in game theory, contract theory, and institutional design. Published his articles in international scientific journals such as Review of Economic Studies and Journal of Economic Theory.
He is a co-founder of VoxUkraine analytical platform.
Since the summer of 2015, Milovanov a member of the International Academic Council of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), now he is its honorary president.
In July 2016, he was appointed a member of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine for five years.
