“We presented the unprecedented contract between the Interior Ministry and Antonov for the purchase of 13 An-178 for the National Guard and State Emergency Service at Paris Air Show. These are the first planes with the Ukrainian and European components. The first demonstration flight will take place this autumn, and they would be on service in three years,” the minister reported.
Besides, Avakov stated that the Interior Ministry and Airbus Helicopters agreed in Le Bourget that the ministry would get five helicopters in 2019. Emergency Service and the National Guard got three H225 helicopters, Kremenchuk flight school got H125.

Ukraine plans to expand the number of the State Emergency Service aviation duty stations and create a unified aviation system with 55 helicopters until 2022.
