Ukraine’s Health Ministry renews ‘red’ zones list: 68 countries included

The Health Ministry of Ukraine has renewed the list of countries in ‘red’ and ‘green’ zones, considering the number of active cases of coronavirus disease per 100,000 of the population as the Health Ministry reported.

Thus, Ukraine increased the list of ‘red’ zone countries up to 68. It is twice more than in the previous list. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Suriname were added to the list.

People who arrive in Ukraine from the ‘red’ zone should pass 14-day isolation or pass PCR-test for Covid-19. Besides, people may enter Ukraine if they carry a prepared test taken not later than 48 hours before the border crossing.

The ‘red’ zone includes states, where the number of new cases of coronavirus per 100,000 of the population during the past 14 days surpasses the same rate in Ukraine.

As of January 22, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 5,348 new cases of Covid-19, including 245 children and 369 healthcare workers. 

1,900 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 163 patients deceased, and 14,239 recovered. 43,593 tests were taken.
