The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has submitted a proposal to the Cabinet of Ministers to move the country to the "yellow" quarantine zone. Quarantine measures can be strengthened in all regions of Ukraine as early as Monday, September 13. This was announced by Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko on the air of Ukraine 24 TV channel.
He noted that today Ukraine has exceeded the indicators that can move the country from the "green" to the "yellow" zone.
"The Ministry of Health has submitted a corresponding proposal to the Cabinet of Ministers. This week there will be a Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies, which will consider our appeal. Most likely, from next Monday Ukraine will move to the yellow level of epidemic danger," Lyashko said.
Meanwhile, Ukraine will be in the "red" quarantine zone no earlier than November and the lockdown cannot be avoided. It was reported by the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin.
"In the near future, Ukraine will leave the "green" zone. We will be forced to introduce the "yellow "zone, where, for example, there will be stricter restrictions on visiting mass events or gyms," he said.
