Ukraine's Government to appeal judge's verdict in Suprun case

Ukraine’s Government decided to appeal to the Supreme Council of Justice with an appeal against a disciplinary offense of Sergiy Karakashyan, Kyiv District Administrative Court judge, as RBK-Ukraine reported, having published the relevant document.

According to the document, it is about the judge’s decision on the case No. 640/463/19 under the lawsuit of MP from Radical Party of Lyashko Ihor Mosiychuk against Ulyana Suprun, Acting Health Minister.

The minister of the Government was ordered to sign the relevant appeal.

As we reported, Suprun's role as acting health minister was questioned by MP from the Radical Party of Lyashko Ihor Mosiychuk. The court explained that such a decision was made as Suprun has dual citizenship. Apart from the Ukrainian one, she also has a U.S. passport.

The government of Ukraine expressed the support of Suprun, as well as the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, did.
