The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine offers to impose sanctions against six people and 10 entities as the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories reported.

“On the submission of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved and it should during three days submit for the consideration of the National Security and Defense Council an offer on the introduction of personal, special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) against people and entities involved in the spread of the production and information content aiming for justifying of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and temporarily occupation by Russia of part of the territory of Ukraine, popularization and propaganda of the activity of the bodies of the Russian occupation administrations,” the message said.

It is proposed to introduce sanctions for three years against six people and 10 entities registered in eight countries.

The sanctions provide blocking of property on the territory of Ukraine, disable transit of resources, flights and carriages in the territory of Ukraine, and disable withdrawal of capitals outside Ukraine. Moreover, they stop the fulfillment of economic and financial commitment, stop the provision of telecommunication services, and block the possibility of use of public telecommunication networks, as well as disabling the pass of technologies, rights for intellectual property, and use of relevant internet resources in the territory of Ukraine.

“This decision aims for the protection of national interests, national security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine,” the ministry added.

On June 4, another meeting of the National Security and Defense Council took place. It was stated that for today, there are no ‘thieves in law’ in Ukraine against whom sanctions were imposed on May 14.
