The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to approve the bill on the introduction of new fines for violation of self-isolation. In case of approval, it will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
According to the document, if a person violates the order of the self-isolation or observation determined by the decision on quarantine and if it does not lead to the spread of a particularly dangerous disease, a person will be fined for 3,400-8,500 hryvnia ($119-297).
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the document on fines for not wearing masks on November 6. The law provides the fine for the absence of a mask in the sum of 170-255 hryvnia ($6-9).
Starting from November 21, Ukrainian authorities began to fine for the lack of a mask in public places and transport.
On December 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted on second reading and in general the bill #3890 that obliges the facilities to observe that the visitors wear masks correctly. The issue is that the mask should be on the face, not on the chin, neck or elsewhere.
