Ukraine’s Government demands President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to explain his statement; earlier, he said that Russia had lost control over militants in Donbas. Besides, he added that Ukraine hopes that Russia would restore control over the occupants, as Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze reported on Facebook.

“If the President thinks that something might happen on the occupied territory in eastern Ukraine without Kremlin knowing it, this is a catastrophe. It is terrible that in President’s statement, Russia looks like almost a stabilizing side. This is what Putin wants to hear,” she noted.

Klympush-Tsintsadze added that the statements of the Head of the State “should be quick and extensive”. Otherwise, it is a capitulation, which the society will not understand.

As it was reported, on June 7, Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the artillery attack of the Ukrainian positions in Donbas and said that it means Russia had lost control over the militants.
