“Earlier, we determined the threat level according to four indicators – number of beds, number of cases, number of testings, and dynamics of the growth of the number of cases. These indicators were counted mathematically. We united two indicators and now everything will be determined according to three indicators – bed capacity, level of testing is also an important indicator. The third indicator, which we imposed instead two is the number of infected in the administrative and territorial units, which is counted per 100,000 of population,” Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov noted.
According to innovations, the average number of a PCR method and ELISA method testing should make not less than 24 testings per 100,000 of the population during the last seven days.
The incidence rate of Covid-19 in 14 days per 100,000 of the population should not surpass the basic level of incidence that makes 40 reported cases in 14 days per 100,000 of population.
Moreover, if the level of bad capacity in the medical facilities all over the region makes 50% or more, then the orange level of the epidemiological danger is established. If the level exceeds 75%, then the red level is established in the whole region.
