Ukraine's Government approves launching of State Investigation Bureau

Ukraine’s Government approved the launch of State Investigation Bureau. The relevant decision was made on November 28, 112 Ukraine reported.

“Therefore, the State Investigation Bureau will start working. We wish them success and maximum credit from the society,” Volodymyr Groysman, Ukraine’s Prime Minister stated.

Roman Truba, the Director of the bureau, stated that around 500 officers of the institution started working on November 27. They have even opened first criminal cases.

“We realize the responsibility the Bureau had, and we promise not to let down the leadership of the state and the Ukrainian nation,” he stressed.

Earlier, on November 22, President Poroshenko signed a decree appointing Roman Truba the Director of State Investigation Bureau, which was to start working on November 20, 2017, but it did not.
