The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine amended the methodology for the determination of the average trade price for fuel and diesel fuel. On the basis of this price, the gas stations can establish their mark-up. The relevant decision was made during the meeting of the government.
Thus, the methodology was amended with “expenses for the external logistic provision and other expenses provided by external-economic agreement (contract) in the sum of $27 per ton”.
According to the approximate calculations, the average trade price can increase by 55 kopiyka ($0.020) per liter for fuel and 61 kopiyka ($0.022) for diesel fuel.
On May 14, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution introducing state regulation of fuel prices. According to the document, the levels of the trade markup to the average price for diesel fuel are set no higher than $0,25 (UAH 7) per liter and for gasoline - not higher than $ 0,18 (UAH 5) per liter.
