The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has summoned Israel's ambassador in Kyiv to clarify the situation regarding the cancellation of the visit of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman to Israel. This was reported by "Interfax-Ukraine" agency, citing a source in the Foreign Ministry.
"Israeli Ambassador was summoned to the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine to provide explanations concerning the abolition of the visit of the Ukrainian Prime Minister to Israel," the agency told.
According to the information, Ukrainian side encouraged "to stop inflating anti-Ukrainian hysteria" during the meeting.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cancelled Volodymyr Groysman’s visit to Israel due to Ukraine’s voting in the UN Security Council in favor of the resolution regarding settlements’ building ban in Palestine.
